I just joined and really like this site. We run an assisted living center for our boy, Ziggy and Reggae. Ziggy is diabetic, blind, and partially deaf but still loves life. Reggae loves to s neak out of the house and run around only to limp the next day. They are litter mates and we have had them for 16 years.
I am disabled and am now using a wheelchair quite a bit. I would like to find a black lab at a shelter that I can train to be a mobility and psychiatric service dog.
As I write this, Ziggy is fluffing his blanket so he can sit on a small corner.
