how to make my own dog toys

One of my dogs favorite homemade ties uses strips of flannel sewn together and wrapped around a tennis ball or Kong ball. You then bind the wrapping so it looks like a squid (you can tie it or sew them together tightly). This allows for chewing, fetch and tug of war and the fleece is pretty durable but easily washed.

I have one I made like Shauna suggested. However, one of the easiest and most popular is a pair of old socks that still smell like the wearer. Put one inside the other and tie a knot at each end. This is one of my golden retriever’s favorite. You could also put a ball in it so it would be heavier to throw.
