I adopted a dog recently, who clearly has miniature schnauzer genes. I was told it was also poodle, but I’m not so sure. Maybe it’s because they shaved her down because when rescued she was so matted, and she looks like a short-haired dog right now. I’m posting a “before” the shavedown so you can see what her grown out coat looks like – keep in mind it’s in bad shape in the picture. And I’m posting the recent pictures of her. What else besides mini schnauzer do you think she is? She is 14 lbs.

Omg. that is my dog. I’m laughing because when I got my dog, I was told he was a yorkie poo but I always thought he looked more like a schnauzer too. It all depends on the haircut he gets. If I look up schnauzer poodle mix there are photos that resemble my dog and if I look up yorkiepoos, there too are the same dogs. I guess we will never know. I say they are a mix of all three dogs. My dog was born black and white but stresses a lot and has become grey all over exactly like yours. My pup is only a year and a half.
