My havanese has a bizarre nose behavior with hot pads

It’s been a little chilly at night, so I’ve been giving my havanese a warm rice pad to keep her warm at night but when I do she has this odd behavior of pushing the blankets with her nose then pressing her nose to the heating pad (see video). Any idea what this is? My only thought is since she’s a retired breeder it has something to do with to do with warm puppies, but that’s just a shot in the dark.
