my new home is awesome.

hi, my name is socks. I am a little over 4 months old right now. my new mom and dad adopted me when I was only 8 weeks old. I now have a new big sister. her name is storm. I love being with her, though I torment her so, to try and get her to play. she is much older than me, and is so much more mellow.

I love to run, and play, and chase things out in the yard, but a lot of times I get darn stickers in my paws, so that my new mom and dad have to pull them out for me. they hurt. but that’s life out here in my desert home. my favorite thing to do is wait till my new dad is almost asleep, then put my paws on the edge of the bed and bark really loud. it makes him jump. but it’s all good. he reached down and picks me up and puts me on the bed with him. then the fun really begins.

the only thing my dad doesn’t like is when I have accidents in the house. I guess I should really try harder to let him know I need to go outside. speaking of which, I need to go outside RIGHT NOW. so all of you have a great day. when I come back in, I will see what sort of mischief I can get into. love to you all. socks.
