Raph- The Non-Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle kind

Hi! My name is Raphael… Or Raph… Or Raphy, Daphy, Doll, Baby Boy… Hmmm… I think its whatever mommy decides to call me. I hate it when she calls me Raphael though, because thats how I know I’m in trouble. I’m going to be 3 soon! I was born on April 1, 2012 and my mommy loves to joke about how I’m way too smart for a fool.
Mommy came to adopt me when I was 35 days old. It was either going to be me or my older (by a few minutes) brother. I picked her first though and curled up for a nap on her shoe. Next thing I know, she sat me on her lap while she drove us home.

I knew I was home as soon as we got here. But mommy was a bit nervous because her mommy didn’t want a dog (she loves dogs but didn’t think my mommy would be responsible enough). She held me up to her mommy’s face and said “don’t be mad! Look at those eyes!”, and I knew that was my cue- *lick* right on her nose and I knew she couldn’t resist my charm any longer. Now the two fight on a daily basis about who is my real mommy.

I take pride in my sense of humor. I don’t know what that is but they always laugh at me when I’m doing something smart and say that I have one. I love making them laugh. I enjoy sunbathing in winters, tearing paper and chewing on plastic bottles. Also, I love my treats, my toys and a good nap. I may look big but I confess, I still love sleeping on my mommy’s lap.

I don’t eat my food on my own because my grandma sings to me if I don’t and sits with me while I eat. Why just eat food when you can have a dinner and a show?! I love my humans and other humans and everyone around because that’s who I am and because everyone loves me too!
