squamous cell carcinoma? What is that? All I know my Mom cried so bad when my vet told her the bad news and yeah I heard is a type of cancer that is not letting me play, eat and go for walks but I’m a fighter and my Mom and Dad got my back so I stay strong and for those fighters out there human or four legged keep it up, don’t give up and let the people around give you some love and always remember you are a champion and very special.
I just finished Radio therapy and guess what? I kicked it off I did amazing
I really don’t know how long I’m gonna live but all I know I’m living my life to the fullest and as soon my meds start making progress my mom will take me to the beach…. Oh yeah the beach.
Anyways as my mom says all the time enjoy your life with your four legged, life is too short to waste a minute without sharing special moments.

I am sorry about your dogs diagnosis. Our Chocolate Lab. was diagnosed with the same thing last Fall. It’s, in simple terms, cancer. Our vet had told us to not even get her vaccs. shots because she did’t think our baby would survive that long. I honestly can’t tell you what we thought.. I went into a complete denial, my whole family did. See, Laila was our very first doggy we had ever owned and she was perfection in our eyes <3 Last Aug.,we were playing ball on the lawn with her and she began wiggling her nose.. I didn’t realize it, but my husband recognized she was having a hard time breathing… She walked over to my husband, on the grass, and laid her head in his lap and she passed right there with me, him and our two kids around her. We were/are heartbroken.
The one thing I am grateful for is that Laila did this on her terms. I don’t think we could have picked a date to put her down and then we would have always wondered if we did the right thing 🙁
