Everyone, meet Roo Roo–a two-legged dog who was rescued from a high-kill shelter and was given a second chance in life.
Roo Roo was surrendered at a high-kill shelter in Kentucky. But thankfully, SecondHand Hounds rescued her. Now people call him Roo Roo the wonderdog. Why? That’s because despite being put in a high-kill shelter, despite having only two legs, Roo Roo is one happy pup. She has adapted to having only two legs, and she’s able to run around and play just like any other dog.
Just look at her enjoying a car ride! Don’t you just love that smile!

Luckily, Roo Roo got a foster mom, and she has been given a second chance at having a happy life.

Someone very generous donated a special chair for her so she can sit up while eating. And she even got a specialized wheelcart for her so she can get around easier.
Awww…isn’t she a cutie? Roo Roo sure is a wonderdog! She has overcome a lot of obstacles, and now she’s looking for a forever home.
