Put a pea-size dab of Aquaphor healing ointment on the raw area. Keep doing this regularly until it heals. When the area gets “eye boogies” there, put a little Aquaphor on it, then push the eye goop out of the hair and area. Aquaphor, made by Eucerin, can be purchased at any pharmacy such as CVS or Target in the hand creams section. It’s similar to Vaseline petroleum jelly. You may have a dog with over active tear ducts in which case you should get some drops from the vet.
