The note revealed that the dog had once enjoyed a loving home, but her owner was unable to care for her and the impending litter and hoped someone else could help.
Moved by her plight, the Good Samaritans acted swiftly. They took her to a veterinarian, who confirmed she was expecting 11 puppies and was close to giving birth. Her poor health, exacerbated by nutritional deficiencies, necessitated that she stay in the hospital immediately. The vet provided guidance on how to care for her once she was home.
They prepared for her return by purchasing essentials like a large bed and warm blanket.
