Part of each sale through the iHeartDogs store is donated to Greater Good Charities, which helps support various charitable programs. Thanks to customers like you, happy endings, like the one below, are made possible.

When the staff at the West Feliciana Animal Humane Society (WFAHS) first met Emily, she was heartworm positive and “looked beaten up, scarred and bruised” with injuries to her inner ear, front legs, and eye.

She was also heavily pregnant with only two weeks left to rebuild her health before her due date.

Emily was given lots of love and care at the shelter with nutritious food donated to WFAHS through Greater Good Charities GOODS program. She also received essential veterinary care to ensure she was strong and healthy for her soon-to-arrive puppies.

Right on schedule, Emily delivered 14 babies who all looked just like her! With the help of WFAHS volunteers and good care and nutrition, every single pup survived!

After completing her “Supermom” duties, Emily found a wonderful family to call her own, complete with a mom, dad, two tiny humans and a dog brother!

Emily’s rescue, recovery and the health of her puppies were made possible by the animal control officers who discovered her, the shelter staff who nursed her back to health, and customers like you whose purchases provide vital funding to the GOODS program!

“Thanks to Rescue Bank, WFAHS can care for the health and nutrition of their dogs and cats that end up at the shelter and save money at the same time!”
