Dogs and pools are an interesting mix. After all, the doggy-paddle got its name for a reason, but even though some pups adore the water, others have to find creative ways to feel comfortable.

In the video below, one owner brought her two fur babies to a swimming pool made specifically for dogs. She decided to film the pair, and was expecting to see them splashing around the pool…swimming. It is a swimming pool, of course. But these funny pups had a different idea.

One of her dogs jumped into the pool first and surprised his human by standing up on his back legs. Through laughter, the pup’s owner continued filming as her other dog jumped in and paddled out to his puppy sibling. The pair looks at each other, and suddenly the second dog stands up on his hind legs, too! Their expressions are hilarious, as if to say, “Hey! Look what we can do!”

Pure adorableness…take a look:

How hilarious are those two!? Do your dogs like the water, or are they a bit hesitant like these funny fellows? Share your funniest swimming dog stories below!
