You guys…there’s really no other way to say this: CORGI BEACH DAY IS A THING.

The annual gathering kicked off in 2012, when a small group of corgis met at the Huntington Dog Beach in Southern California. Each Spring since then, hundreds of butt-wiggling, puppy-smile wearing Corgis and their owners gather at the beach for a day of costume contests, sandy belly rubs and general adorable playtime. 2015’s event, which took place April 11th, attracted nearly 500 corgis!

500. CORGIS.

Let that sink in.

Arguably the world’s most consistently photogenic breed of dog, these cuties had an absolute blast mingling with one another and enjoying a day at the beach.

The video below gives you an idea of the overwhelming cuteness that took place:

Don’t know about you, but I’m still recovering from the adorableness. We wonder if there’s a spectator portion to this event…if so, count us in! Corgi owners, have you/would you participate in Corgi Beach Day?
