#9 – Kid or Cat Friendly
There is no way to know if a puppy is going to grow up and like kids or cats, even if you expose them when they are young and do “all the right things.” With a shelter dog, you can pick one that is known to like kids and/or cats, taking away any risk that your household does not all get along.
