When we were little, and didn’t know any better, we had this vision in our minds of pets at pet stores that lived happy lives until their forever family came along and gave them a home where they could just be happier. As we grew and our minds began to see the world in a different way, the rose-colored glasses came off of our eyes and we were exposed to the harsh ways of the world. Rescuing an animal is the greatest gift you can do for that sweet little being that just needs a kind soul who wants to save them from a life of suffering, and nothing could be any truer than that of a puppy mill dog.
Alone, caged, used and abused, these dogs are preyed upon by greedy “owners” looking to make money off their offspring when it comes time to sell to pet stores and flea markets.
