Neglected & Terrified, Two Dogs Finally Feels What It’s Like To Have A Loving Home

Everyone, meet Bridget and Louie, two Pit Bulls who were surrendered by their owner to the Montgomery County Animal Shelter, in Texas.

Based on their condition, the two looked like they were outdoor dogs. They both had mange. Bridget, the orange dog was underweight. And Louie, the black one, had a metal collar digging into his neck. When they arrived at the shelter, they were so scared.

Although it seems sad that they were surrendered to the shelter, but when you think of it, they’re better off at the shelter. These dogs were severely neglected. And when they got to the shelter, that was probably the first time they experience care and attention. They had beds, a roof over their heads, and they got treats from the staff too!

“I don’t know who they are, but it’s better than being here!” Little did they know all the good things that were waiting for them!

And in just one day, they found a foster home. For the very first time, these two dogs got to feel what it’s like to have a real, loving home.

Two amazing people saw their photos on Facebook, and they stepped in to help. Kasey Hersperger, their new foster mom, wanted to help the dogs heal while they wait for a loving, forever home.

According to to their new foster parents, Bridget and Louie are the sweetest dogs. They love the attention and they love to cuddle!

After being neglected for so long, Bridget and Louie finally felt what it’s like to be loved.
