Her past spent in an abusive drug house basement had taken a toll on her and she would always curl up into a corner and look gloomy.

Man Saved A Dying Wolf And Her Cubs, Years Later The Wolf Returned The Favor

Many years ago, in the wilds of Alaska, a man came across a timber wolf that has caught and battered by a trap. The man realizes that the wolf doesn’t have long to live and was quickly losing blood from being trapped.

The man was initially spooked after coming face to face with the large beast, until he learned she was weak and exhausted from being stranded for most likely days without sustaining herself. Nevertheless, even while still wary around her -he discovered that the wolf had milk coming out of her body. Which could only mean one thing – she had little ones who urgently needed her to survive but where we they? Where could they be? He needed to save her and the pups.

The man knew that he needed to help the mother wolf and that things could get very dangerous. He decided to backtrack her pawmarks and venture out into the woods so that he could locate her babies. Luckily, he found a den approximately a half a mile away.

As the man imitated wolf howls, 4 wee pups came out of hiding. They were so famished that they began suckling on the man’s fingers. The man cautiously carried them in his bag and reunited them with their mama, who embraced her little ones with deep emotional whimpers!

Despite the man’s kind gesture and good intentions, the protective mama still did not trust him to come near her. But the man knew she would starve to death at this rate. So he thoughtfully brought her the remains of a freshly dead deer to quell her hunger.

Over the next few days, the man camped near the still-bound mama wolf and her cubs. He spent his time prospecting and finding food for the wolf. He even bonded with the cubs! One day, out of the blue, the mama began wagging her tail slightly while he fixed her supper!

In a surprising turn of events, Damian and his wife, Victoria, recently met up with two reticent gorillas in the wild that they’d released years ago. The two gorillas, named Djalta and Ima, were raised by Damian when they were just small babies at Howletts Wild Animal Park in Kent. They were released as fully-grown adults back in 2003. Damian wanted to introduce his wife to the gorillas. He was aware of how territorial Western Lowland Gorillas can be to humans-and they were shy about entering their territory.

Even though Djalta and Ima were raised by Damian, there was a possibility that they wouldn’t welcome him into their home. At one point, Ima fondly picked up Victoria and lovingly held her while she hugged him.

Djalta’s recollection of human life through his experiences continues to be remarkable. It’s touching to see both Chunk, Ima, and Djalta not only remember Damian but embrace his wife as part of their family. The emotional intelligence of these incredible creatures is beyond comparison.

The rescuer searched for his mother just in case she needed help too. But his mama was nowhere to be found. She named the little pup Bernard and put him into her car. She kept talking to him and told him over and over it would be okay. He was unresponsive but finally, after a few minutes, he let out a little cry.

Bernard was taken straight to the vet clinic. He had a wound on his back that needed to be treated. Once he was out of the woods, the rescuer could look for a foster home. He stayed at the clinic until he was cleared. The rescuer made some phone calls and found Bernard a foster mom that was willing to take in such a young puppy. He needed to be bottle-fed and Dina was happy to do it.

The tiny pup took to sucking on a pacifier for comfort. Dina gave him a rainbow teddy bear as well hoping it would keep him company. Bernard bonded to the bear right away. As Bernard continued to heal and get bigger, Dina grew confident that he could go on to his forever home. Mom Turned Back To Get 1 Last Look At Her Babies And Wished Them A ‘Happy Life’

The rescuers and vet staff are very happy with the puppies’ condition. Mom took excellent care of them both. Their weight is good, their coats are shiny. And they are really happy little boys! The rescuers and staff post lots of photos on their social media pages.

Wary Stray Moved Into Foster Home, He’s Scared To Budge Till He Met New Friend:

 

For a dog named Boomer, life looked quite bleak. He was badly injured and living on the streets. His days were numbered but thankfully he was found in time wandering on a highway.

 

But once Boomer was rescued, there were still many challenges ahead of him. Challenges he’d no longer face on his own. The rescue organization, Hopalong Animal Rescue, reached out to Thom hoping he could foster Boomer. Boomer would need a lot of TLC and Thom was thankfully willing to give him a chance.

When he came home with Thom, he was so wary of humans. He wasn’t sure what to make of being inside a house. Everything was so foreign to him.

His life on the streets and eye injury really wore him out and all he did was sleep for the first few days. Thom never left his side.

He’d wake up and Thom would change his eye bandages and then Boomer would go back to sleep. The poor dog was on ten different medications which made him even more exhausted.

Thom’s dog Ruby would continuously check on Boomer. She wanted him to get better as well. Thom was confident that Ruby would help Boomer come out of his shell.

The first time they met, and Boomer was actually awake, he had an instant crush on Ruby. It was adorable!

But Ruby didn’t really feel the same way. She let Boomer sniff her and would then run away. She spent days keeping her distance, unsure of what to make of this new dog in her home.

Finally, something magical happened. Boomer came over to Ruby with a toy and she actually took the other end. This was a huge deal and the beginning of something beautiful!

Ruby and Boomer bonded over playtime. They were constantly playing tug-of-war and running about. Their bond, which started slowly, only got stronger.

Before long they were doing everything together. They’d sunbathe on the same bed, go for rides together, and hike side by side. And of course, cuddle.

This friendship gave Boomer the confidence and security he so badly needed. The dog could finally let his true personality shine.

As Thom watched this amazing transformation, and Boomer walked with his head held up high, he knew that their job was complete. It was now time for Boomer to find him forever home.

The next morning, when Mason went downstairs, he was surprised by what he saw: Hedgie was a completely different dog! The two of them became inseparable friends who did everything together.
