Remember that Pit Bull named Larry Bird? Larry Bird needed a forever home. He was staying at the Hillsborough County Animal Services shelter. Larry is a very sweet dog. But every night he hides under his bed because he is terrified of the loud sounds the other dogs make. We felt so sorry for Larry so we shared his story and his photos in hopes that his story may reach someone who can give him the loving, forever home that he needed. His story went viral. And after a few weeks, Larry’s wish came true!
Larry’s story was all over the internet that Hillsborough County Animal Services received hundreds of calls and emails asking about Larry. And after going through all the adoption applications, they found Larry’s perfect match!
A lot of people were interested in adopting Larry. He was no longer an unwanted dog. And on April 8, 2015, Larry finally found someone who could give him the love and the home that he deserved.
Awwww…I just love happy endings! We are so glad that Larry’s wish to have a forever home came true!
