It’s not only dogs and cats that make their way into care via rescue organizations. At Shannon Farmz Animal Rescue, animals of all shapes and sizes are rescued from all sorts of distressing circumstances. 

An incredible amount of animals including dogs, cats, and puppies, along with goats, horses, and a donkey have all made their way to Shannon Farmz Animal Rescue and have been positively impacted by Greater Good Charities’ GOODS program. The GOODS program distributes food, essential supplies, toys, and more to pets in need across the world.

And this program has had an incredible impact for quite a few of the animals in the care of Shannon Farmz Animal Rescue. Three of these cats were initially found feral. It took rescuers three long months to catch them and then an entire year of eating the yummy, nutritious food from the GOODS program to get them healthy. 

One of the dogs who was in particularly rough shape was pulled from a shelter in absolutely horrible condition. She was a white Pitbull named Jovi who was suffering from severe mange. She was nursed back to health thanks to the substantial amount of vitamins and minerals in the food provided by the GOODS program.

A mama with newborn puppies was dumped on a rural road, and Fonzie the horse was pulled from an auction. A ton of tiny, sick puppies come through their rescue without mamas, all of them needing specialized care. Every single one of them has benefited from the GOODS program. 

This incredible program gives Shannon Farmz Animal Rescue the opportunity to feed so many animals that they wouldn’t be able to on their own. They have been able to give all of these amazing animals good, nutritious, food and treats, comfortable bedding and toys to learn and grow, supplements and nutritional aides to help special cases, along with flea and tick collars and sprays. They provide an exceptional amount of resources.
