Tom StephensParticipant
Incidentally I would recommend Trupanion pet insurance before seeing a vet. Allergies are covered and are very expensive over time without help of health insurance. This made me a believer in it. I’ve spent over $8000 the past 6 years on allergies treatments at vet. Her allergies were pre existing when I purchased her insurance.

That will help the itching and stop further biting due to bad taste. Keep sores clean and dry. My Malt has grass allergies and chews her whole backside. I keep it in check with an antihistamine.
