This unlikely animal friendship is really something out of a Disney movie. The Fox And The Hound, to be precise…though I doubt you’ll need any clarification after meeting this playful dog and fox pair.

Tinni is a German Shepherd belonging to Norwegian photographer Trogier Berge. Berge took his pup for a walk in the woods last summer, when they encountered something amazing: an abandoned baby fox.

Clearly seeking food and affection, the fox, who Berge later named Sniffer, took an immediate liking to 4-year-old Tinni. They spent that afternoon running around for hours playing together, and the bond slowly grew. Now, Sniffer is a regular addition to their walks in the woods. He and Tinni play together almost every day! Amazing stuff.

Berge naturally got into the habit of taking photos of the adorable, energetic pals. The photographer knew this friendship was special, and needed to be shared. In addition to posting the photos on Facebook, he began working to create a book based on the pair! It has been released in some countries and features stories accompanying pictures of Tinni and Sniffer. The book will be released worldwide soon, and Berge says he hopes this incredible friendship will help raise awareness for animals struggling to survive conditions of the fur trade.

Take a look at the pair in action below, and enjoy some more of Berge’s amazing shots!
