If you have been a dog owner long enough, you’ve probably lost a valuable item to your pup’s chewing habits. This is normal and happens to everyone, especially those with new puppies. Chewing is a natural instinct for dogs and the act itself shouldn’t be punished, just redirected to something more appropriate. That said, it can be pretty entertaining when we find something one of our dogs destroyed because we left it out. As long as we take responsibility for the mistakes of our pups, we can turn bad situations into funny ones.
That’s exactly what Daniel Martino did when he found one of his shoe insoles was destroyed. Martino has two dogs and he wasn’t sure who the culprit was, so he decided to ask. He’s got an adorable long-haired Dachshund named Oddie and a Pit Bull named Mister. He videotaped his discussion with them and it’s very easy to see who the guilty party is!
Thankfully the pooch didn’t experience his guilt for long as Martino was just playing around with them. He’s happy with his pups and posed for a photo afterwards to let everyone know that they’re still one big, happy family…just with one less shoe!
