“Joker” Puppy Finds His Superhero To Save Him From Lonely Life At The Shelter

| December 31, 2015

Animals can have some pretty cool markings, and this is especially true for mixed breed cats and dogs. Sometimes color combinations surprise us, and there are times that those markings make for some strangely familiar patterns. For one puppy at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, all it took was one photo of him featured as the Pet of the Day for him to find a hero to give him a loving home. Life may have given him a rough start, but the puppy named “Joker” had fate on his side.

Shortly after Joker’s photo was shared on their Facebook page, adoption inquiries started pouring in for the Great Pyrenees/Shepherd mix. It’s hard not to look at him without smiling, right? He’s just too cute! And, even when he grows to be an impressive size given his breed mix, he’ll be the cutest super-villain puppy I’ve ever seen!

“The day that he was put up for adoption he was adopted out right away,” said a shelter worker at the Tampa Bay Humane Society. There were so many people calling, especially out of state and even a few from outside the country, wanting to adopt him. But he went to a good home.”

We’re so happy for the Joker, and something tells us that his superhero won’t need to come up with a new name for his four-legged friend.
