Man Held 1.8-lb Unconscious Chihuahua Puppy That ‘Wasn’t A Chihuahua At All’

Rescuers from Dallas RRR found a teeny tiny puppy barely clinging to life. He was so weak that he couldn’t keep his eyes open for long or hold his tiny head up. The puppy, they later named Stuart, was so shockingly small that he only weighed 1.8 pounds.

Because of Stuart’s tiny stature, he was classified as a Chihuahua– but he wasn’t. What blew rescuers away was what the vet told them next, this puppy, that’s under 2 pounds, was actually a Pit Bull. He was so severely anemic from a tick and flea infestation that he needed blood transfusions immediately or he wouldn’t survive.

The first two days of Stuart’s rescue were so scary that rescuers didn’t think he’d make it. But they weren’t giving up on him, that’s for sure. Three days later, Stuart began improving. He went from being in and out of consciousness to being awake for hours at a stretch. Now it was time to find Stuart a foster home. A woman named Susan was happy to open her heart to the little fighter.

Susan picked up Stuart and when she brought him home he slept a lot but then, thankfully, he perked up a few days later. He actually began to act like a real puppy! Susan’s brother, named Shane, wanted to meet the little canine warrior. Shane and Stuart had an instant connection. Shane sat down on the sofa and Stuart climbed right on top of Shane. He laid his head on his chest and they both fell asleep. It was as if these two were meant to be.

Dog Too Weak To Move In Woods, Concealed Gifts That Were Depleting Her

There was a dog in the woods that two women were passing through when they came upon it. Angela, for instance, wanted to assist the animal but was hesitant about what she would discover.

As they drew near to the dog, she was hiding a litter of newborn pups. The mama dog was unable to walk, but her puppies kept nursing, taking away even more nutrients from her. The women had to act quickly. They ran back home and obtained food and water supplies.

After this trauma, the mother dog was too weak to sit up and eat. Angela came and called softly instead of approaching aggressively- she could lash out to protect her babies. Angela came over slowly and the mama dog just laid there like she had lost all hope. It broke Angela’s heart.

Angela was able to load a mama and her puppies, which were 2 weeks old, into her car. The puppies were healthy, and it was a large litter! The first night was difficult for everyone. Mom seemed hesitant about everything. Angela set up a kid’s swimming pool with blankets and pillows to make sure they were as comfortable as possible.

All the puppies were given extravagant names such as Aurora and Orion. Angela was ecstatic to finally have an accepted mama dog for Sky. The puppies gave baby Sky so much love, it was clear they would all grow up and live a healthy and happy life.

Sky, the new mom, first showed her true personality as more than a mother. Instead, we saw Sky playing with her puppies and chasing them around the family’s backyard.

After Spending His Entire Life On A Chain, Biscuit Was Shown An Empty Field

Please meet Biscuit. A Siberian Husky who lived his entire life on a chain, until now. This is his story!

 

8 dogs were discovered while Amy Hines, a wonderful member of Dogs Deserve Better, was in Kentucky. She just knew she couldn’t leave them outside without shelter, so she wanted to do something about it right away.

Amy knew that she had to take action and decided to stop her vehicle and save one of them. However, she decided to go all the way and took the opportunity to speak with the owner and rescued all eight of these dogs from the property. Her first rescue, Biscuit was taken to their Good News Rehab Center which is located in Virginia.

For some time these dogs were living their lives chained up. However, thankfully, they are now safe, free, and loved. We absolutely love happy endings and you will absolutely enjoy this wonderful video below.

Man Held Baby Critter, Paraded Her Up And Down Beach So Her Cries Were Heard

A man enjoying his daily walk behind his house heard frantic cries for help. Investigating, he didn’t find anything or anyone around but was perplexed. The situation was not typical of the norm, so the man continued down the beach to see what was happening.

As the man continued to walk closer to the shore saw a tiny creature that was so vulnerable that his heart broke. This baby otter, who should have been with her family in the water, just sat in a pile of tears crying for her mother. The employee at the aquarium knew he had to try to unite the otter with her family.

He also knew how to handle the baby otter so he carefully picked her up and walked with her, up and down the beach, hoping to find her mom. He was encouraged that the baby otter’s cries would lure her mother out. But there was no other otter around. This was likely due to the large swells brought in by the weather. She was likely separated by her mom, for good. The man had no other choice but to bring the baby otter to the aquarium.

Happy endings are not always easy to find for special needs otters. As their stories show, the Monterey Bay Aquarium rescued a baby pup who was traumatized. Now, her fearlessness is empowering other young otters with the Shedd Aquarium helped facilitate her home there.

Dog Cried All Night As No One Picks Her, Shelter Posts Her Photo As A Last Resort

High Plains Humane Society (HPHS) of New Mexico has a long history of caring for stray and rescue dogs. They photograph the shelter dogs on a regular basis in order to enhance their visibility among pet owners.

 

The volunteers of HPHS visited an associate shelter and captured the photo of a devastated puppy on one of their trips. The photograph shows the puppy, who appears to be looking through her cage toward someone who will rescue her and give her a wonderful home.

Man Saved A ‘Dying’ Wolf And Her Cubs, Years Later The Wolf Returned The Favor

Many years ago, in the wilds of Alaska, a man came across a timber wolf that has caught and battered by a trap. The man realizes that the wolf doesn’t have long to live and was quickly losing blood from being trapped. The man was initially spooked after coming face to face with the large beast, until he learned she was weak and exhausted from being stranded for most likely days without sustaining herself.

 

Nevertheless, even while still wary around her he discovered that the wolf had milk coming out of her body. Which could only mean one thing, she had little ones who urgently needed her to survive but where we they? Where could they be? He needed to save her and the pups.

The man knew that he needed to help the mother wolf and that things could get very dangerous. He decided to backtrack her pawmarks and venture out into the woods so that he could locate her babies. Luckily, he found a den approximately a half a mile away. As the man imitated wolf howls, 4 wee pups came out of hiding. They were so famished that they began suckling on the man’s fingers. The man cautiously carried them in his bag and reunited them with their mama, who embraced her little ones with deep emotional whimpers!

 

Despite the man’s kind gesture and good intentions, the protective mama still did not trust him to come near her. But the man knew she would starve to death at this rate. So he thoughtfully brought her the remains of a freshly dead deer to quell her hunger.

Over the next few days, the man camped near the still-bound mama wolf and her cubs. He spent his time prospecting and finding food for the wolf. He even bonded with the cubs! One day, out of the blue, the mama began wagging her tail slightly while he fixed her supper!

The man took a leap of faith and approached to free the wolf. She eventually licked his hands and allowed him to release her from the nasty trap, which had badly damaged her paw. Once free, she began limping home. However, she made an abrupt stop and coaxed her savior to follow her!

 

The mama wolf took him to a mountain meadow and introduced him to her pack. It was a life-altering experience for the man as he interacted with so many wolves who treated him like a part of the pack. The mama howled mournfully as the man bid farewell, not knowing they were fated to meet again many years.

Four years after his first misadventure to Coho Creek, the man found himself in another one. Similar to the time before, he was hunting for steel traps by the bog. But just then, a bear charged out of nowhere and chased him. For someone facing danger for the second time at Coho Creek, he did something really smart. Since the man was at the end of his, he decided to let out loud “Wolf cries” in the rush of the moment. Finally, relief came when an eerie familiar shape showed up before his eyes! The wolf he saved years ago, came to his rescue.
