The Chilean Terrier is the first dog originating in Chile and dates back to the 19th century, although it is rarely found outside its home country. It was bred as a fox hunting and vermin exterminator. They are active and intelligent dogs that can make good companions, but should not be trusted around other small animals due to their strong hunting instincts.
