Hope for Paws is a non-profit animal rescue group based in Los Angeles, CA. When they were notified of a homeless German Shepherd living outside of a medical clinic, they quickly jumped to action to help save the dog. Unfortunately, he was very scared and did not want anything to do with humans at all. He ignored their food and treats, despite how hungry he probably was, and kept running away to hide.
The Hope for Paws team was trying not to chase the pup into the busy street, and when a few security guards saw them attempting to catch him, they jumped in to help. Together, they lured him into a gated lot and closed the gates on him. He couldn’t escape from there and it gave the rescuers a chance to get ahold of the poor pup and start his progress towards a better life.
It breaks our hearts to see how scared he was, but Mozart, as he’s now called, received some much-needed love and veterinary care. He was not microchipped and not neutered, so the team got together to meet all of his medical needs and transfer him to a loving foster home. He’s going to be ready for adoption soon and we hope that this sweet boy finally finds his forever family.
