Stray With Paralysis Slithered To Food When Woman Saw Him Suffering Alone

Homeless animals have enough to contend with. Finding adequate shelter, food, and clean water is challenging enough. Doing so is dangerous for healthy strays but imagine what it would be like for a dog that is paralyzed! It would be impossible. Yet a dog, later named Kuya Bon, fought to stay alive despite his disability. He was left all by himself when his owner deemed him useless after a car had hit him.

Image Story/Source Credit: YouTube Video

Kuya Bon’s callous owner couldn’t be bothered with a dog that needed so much care. He kicked him out of the only home he had ever known. By the time he was spotted by a kind individual, he had been on the streets for a very long time. He had to deal with so many rainy days, especially during the monsoon season. It’s a miracle he survived this long.

Image Story/Source Credit: YouTube Video

A kind woman saw the dog from afar and got a bowl of food for Kuya Bon. She went over to him and put the bowl down. She wanted to see how bad his legs were. Despite his struggles, Kuya Bon slithered to the bowl of food and ate happily. The woman knew he needed urgent veterinary care. She would spend her own money to help him.

Image Story/Source Credit: YouTube Video

While waiting for Kuya Bon to have x-rays done, the woman called a local rescuer. She begged for his help knowing she couldn’t keep Kuya Bon and he did not belong back out on the streets. The rescuer agreed. Kuya Bon is recovering as we speak at the vet clinic. It’s uncertain where he will end up but what IS FOR SURE is that he will never be back out on the streets again! To see Kuya Bon’s rescue, please scroll down. We are so thankful that he is now safe.

Study Shows Your Dog’s Pee & Poop Are Helping To Destroy The Environment

It turns out not obeying leash laws in common dog walking areas can have some seriously negative effects on the environment. We all know (and roll our eyes at) those dog owners who ignore the signs when entering the parks and walking trails. They carelessly unclip their dogs’ leads, allowing them to wander freely, sprinkling their number ones and number twos at will. Not only is this thoroughly annoying, but a recent study from Belgium also shows that free-range dogs … Read more

Poodle Met New Doc That Cradled Her As She’s Swept Up By Both Fear And Relief

When taking an animal into our home, we make a promise of responsibility and dedication to their lives and they become part of our family. Please meet Manuka Honey and this is her story!

Unfortunately, Manuka was hit by a car and her injuries to her front leg were severe. Her mom and dad rushed her to the vet clinic and surgery was recommended. They did not want to pay for the surgery and asked if there was an alternative.

The vet said they could try diligently treating her leg with frequent bandage changes by bringing her in weekly as well as antibiotics and strict supervision. The owners agreed but failed Honey miserably. They did not bring her in for bandage changes nor stay on top of her wounds. Her leg became severely infected leading to necrosis. To make matters worse, her owners kept her leg so tightly wrapped that it limited blood flow. Poor Honey was suffering.

By the time Honey was surrendered to AMA Animal Rescue, her poor body had been through so much. She desperately needed adequate care as well as lots of love. Her new human friends were happy to intervene. AMA took Honey to their vet who said, without a shadow of a doubt, she needed both her leg and shoulder amputated. Her wounds had gotten so bad that there was no way of saving the limb.

To make matters even worse, Honey was so lethargic that she couldn’t even eat or drink. This is why proper medical care is NEVER an option. Had her owners listened to their vet, Honey wouldn’t have suffered the way she did. AMA’s vet scheduled Honey for surgery the next day. She first needed IV fluids and proper rest the build up her strength.

Man Saved A Dying Wolf And Her Cubs, Years Later The Wolf Returned The Favor

Many years ago, in the wilds of Alaska, a man came across a timber wolf that has caught and battered by a trap. The man realizes that the wolf doesn’t have long to live and was quickly losing blood from being trapped.

The man was initially spooked after coming face to face with the large beast, until he learned she was weak and exhausted from being stranded for most likely days without sustaining herself. Nevertheless, even while still wary around her -he discovered that the wolf had milk coming out of her body. Which could only mean one thing – she had little ones who urgently needed her to survive but where we they? Where could they be? He needed to save her and the pups.

The man knew that he needed to help the mother wolf and that things could get very dangerous. He decided to backtrack her pawmarks and venture out into the woods so that he could locate her babies. Luckily, he found a den approximately a half a mile away.

As the man imitated wolf howls, 4 wee pups came out of hiding. They were so famished that they began suckling on the man’s fingers. The man cautiously carried them in his bag and reunited them with their mama, who embraced her little ones with deep emotional whimpers!

Despite the man’s kind gesture and good intentions, the protective mama still did not trust him to come near her. But the man knew she would starve to death at this rate. So he thoughtfully brought her the remains of a freshly dead deer to quell her hunger.

Over the next few days, the man camped near the still-bound mama wolf and her cubs. He spent his time prospecting and finding food for the wolf. He even bonded with the cubs! One day, out of the blue, the mama began wagging her tail slightly while he fixed her supper!

The man took a leap of faith and approached to free the. . . Click to continue reading this story, read more >>

Man Picks Up Tiny Puppy Who Was Whining In Pain On The Road And Takes Him Home

Many people love their pets. But some families make an unethical decision by discarding them like trash, either placing them on the side of the street or delivering them to shelters. A villager from North Africa was passing by a dark empty street at night when he heard heart-wrenching weeping sounds coming from the roadside. The man followed the cries and found a tiny puppy squirming and moaning in pain at the side of the road..

Helping a puppy off the side of the road, the man noticed there were no mama or littermates nearby. The puppy crouched by his stomach and whimpered, seemingly scared from the collapse of its tiny family.

Man Held Baby Critter, Paraded Her Up And Down Beach So Her Cries Were Heard

A man enjoying his daily walk behind his house heard frantic cries for help. Investigating, he didn’t find anything or anyone around but was perplexed. The situation was not typical of the norm, so the man continued down the beach to see what was happening.

As the man continued to walk closer to the shore saw a tiny creature that was so vulnerable that his heart broke. This baby otter, who should have been with her family in the water, just sat in a pile of tears crying for her mother. The employee at the aquarium knew he had to try to unite the otter with her family.

He also knew how to handle the baby otter so he carefully picked her up and walked with her, up and down the beach, hoping to find her mom. He was encouraged that the baby otter’s cries would lure her mother out. But there was no other otter around. This was likely due to the large swells brought in by the weather. She was likely separated by her mom, for good. The man had no other choice but to bring the baby otter to the aquarium.

Blind Pit Bull Ached To Be Saved But No One Showed And Then She Heard A Woman

This is a story about a blind Pit Bull who was dumped in the woods and ached to be saved but no one showed up. She almost gave up until one rescuer, from Lucky Dog Refuge, was able to lure her out of the dense woods with food. When she got up, they saw every bone in her body. It was totally soul-crushing. She had given up as she slowly starved. By the time a rescue group found her, she was curled up in a ball trying to stay warm, waiting for her angels to come.

They decided to name her Halo. The reason for deciding this name was due to the fact she was in too much pain and she almost needed to be humanely and sadly put her down. But, this was not the case. The story gets better, we promise

The chemical that was used in “Echo’s” eyes during the chemical testing facility also made the little girl go blind. Echo needed a foster home to take care of her when she was in her new life outside the cage. Echo needed a medical checkup immediately. The poor Beagle needed to start a new life with a foster who could help her build a new life outside of a cage. That’s when foster mom Hannah stepped up to take her in and her life completely changed for the better!

After 6-Months Of No-Eye Contact, Dad Figures Out Adopted Dog’s “True Passion”

Adopting an abused pet can require a lot of work. Questions are often raised when adopting dogs from abused homes. Penni made no eye-contact with Dad for the past six months. Even when he would come for a visit, she would refuse to go on walks and seemed to be always scared of everything. Her past spent in an abusive drug house basement had taken a toll on her and she would always curl up into a corner and look gloomy.

Penni’s life took a turn for the better, however, when Dad moved from New Jersey to Las Vegas. He started taking Penni on hikes and that proved to be a beacon of light she needed. Slowly, she came out of her shell and finally embraced the passionate spirit inside her.

Penni has finally found her perfect adventure partner in Dad, who is always ready to go on hikes. By escaping the blanket of cold weather in Michigan for warmer climates, Penni is renewed to enjoy life again.

Man Spends Entire Day In The Blizzard Trying To Save Dying Puppies From A Pipe

A homeless dog named Hera was gripped with anxiety after she gave birth in the unforgiving winter months on the streets of Serbia. For the next few days, Hera was constantly stressing over the survival of her sickly babies. She would dash out of the pipe every time she heard a vehicle whoosh by, pleading with every passerby to help her keep her babies alive. But her hopes were squashed with indifference as no one ever offered her the shelter or warmth that she so desperately sought for her puppies.
