Pets Are Good For Senior Citizens, Yet Study Shows Less Than Half Own One
It is often recommended that seniors own pets to ward off loneliness and isolation. Yet only 41% of senior citizens own pets, according to a new Caring.com report. The sample size was 628 adults age 65 or older living in the continental US.
